Pressage à l'ancienne l'année 2010
The children see the grapes transported in trugs and then tread them with their feet
With all the excitement of our new baby, we mustn't forget our other lovely wine
Terres de Fumel Rosé 2009
A beautifully light quaffable rosé, perfect for those warm summer evenings served nicely chilled around the swimming pool. Our regular 'aperos' with our guests in the evening have given us their appreciation of our rosé.
Vendange à l'ancienne l'année 2010
The children learn how the grapes used to be picked by hand

Launch of Domaine de Fumel Wine
2009
After many years of waiting, our vineyard, replanted 5 years ago with 100% Merlot vines, has produced its first full vintage of red wine. And what a year to choose - 2009 - reputed to be THE year and likely to outclass the great vintage of 1961.
First tastings reveal a deep, tannic and structured wine with good fruit, suggesting a wine that will benefit from ageing.
This deeply coloured wine has a wonderful nose and tastes of the ripe fruit of blackberries, blackcurrants with a lovely vanilla overtone. We are justly proud of both it and our Vigneron, Guillaume Barrou.
To launch it, Guillaume is holding a wine tasting at his brother Jean's house on September the Fourth. We look forward to hearing the comments of the people attending.
